Pros:
Looks great. Features are functional and not just bells and whistles. Plenty of connections for my home theatre. Pre outs provide the ability to run a 7.1 setup. Auto speaker calibration. Receiver works as designed(see other thoughts).
Cons:
Have only owned for about 3 months. Only issue is how Pioneer designed the standby thru function. It will work, but the receiver has to be on. I knew this before I bought it, so no big deal.
Overall Review:
Most people think they can plug and play modern receivers. If you are not tech savy, read the manual. The manual is very detailed and technical, so it needs to be treated as such and studied until you know what it can and can't do. I was very sceptical about this purchase because of all the bad reviews and form posts about issues. In retrospect, most issues were "OPERATOR ERROR". Some were valid though.
