This review is from: JetWay HBJC371F35W-T40E-B AMD A50M (Hudson M1) Barebone
Pros:
Dual gigabit ethernet. Four DB-9 serial ports. Dual core x86_64. Low power. Fanless.
Cons:
Runs hot. It has no active cooling, only the case acting as a passive heatsink. It does get too hot to handle comfortably.
The included Atheros WiFi module is not supported by pfSense; at least not by the 8/2 v2.1 snapshot.
Overall Review:
After a few power management tweaks it idles at a mere 13.8W when running pfSense. XBMC (openelec) idled around 17W but I didn't do any power tuning.
Booting is FAST with an SSD. For example, rebooting XBMC took 20 seconds (from clicking the reboot button to being back to full function). Putting to sleep and then waking via Wake-on-LAN is very fast.
No problems playing 1080p Blu-ray content.
Dual Gig-E, quad RS232, and low power makes this unit an excellent pfSense firewall/router. Highly recommended.
