Pros:
Very nice processor, graphics, keyboard, and a bunch of other nice things. This computer is very complete right out of the box. It looks sexy.
Cons:
When I received the product, I was very excited! I opened up the box, turned it on, and went through the Windows 8 setup. I was really looking forward to trying out the new Windows. During this hour I did a few simple things, installed a few programs, and restarted it a few times. I then had to take a 10 minute trip to my fathers house, not a bumpy one at all, and the computer was in a nice case in my lap the whole ride. Upon arriving and turning on my new laptop again, it took a bit longer to boot. Then it displayed an error saying "No Bootable device!". It took me to a boot menu where sure enough, it showed no bootable devices were found. I restarted the computer about 5 times, then messed with the BIOS, still nothing. I called tech support and they walked me through the same things I had been doing 2 hours before hand. They finally told me I would have to return the computer to one of their offices to have it worked on. I am currently in a position where returning is far from an option. So I had to wait a day before I got back to my house to experiment. I tried taking the hard drive out of the new computer and putting it into my old ugly one, it did not show up. I then threw the hard drive from the old computer into my new one, and it showed up! That led me to one conclusion, the hard drive converted itself into an ugly paper weight (Fried, killed itself, etc.) after an hour of use.
I ended up having to install Windows 7 on the old laptop's hard drive that is only 160 GB's, and keep it in my new laptop. It works well after spending about 12 hours installing all of the correct driver software. I am still going to miss the other 340 GB's of space I cold be using for storing games. Eventually I'll be buying a higher capacity SSD for it, but right now I'm stuck with this thing.
Overall Review:
For the first time ordering from Newegg, I am very disappointed. I will probably never be buying from this company again, or I will at least try to avoid them. If you're looking to purchasing this product, keep in mind that it might break after a few hours of use, if it does get ready to wait 2 weeks for Acer to fix it all up for you.
Have fun.
