Pros:

This drive came with nice reviews and came arrived from Newegg.

Cons:

Unfortunately, this drive was DOA. Upon reformatting and installing Mountain Lion, the installer detected unrepairable SMART errors, which pretty much sucks. I tried disk repair and while it saw no issues, the SMART error remained. I didn't want to spend $100 on Disk Warrior, so I'm going to RMA this drive.

Overall Review:

I've never had a bad experience with Newegg... and this isn't their fault. Bad drives ship, its a fact. Taking apart a 2007 iMac is a real pain though and now I have to do it again, and then again :). I'm trying hard not to be sour grapes.
