Pros:
Cheap in comparison to the other Powerline adapters. Picked up two sets for the same price as the other brands. Worked great until....
Cons:
... I went to upgrade the firmware. Firmware version on the devices are 1.0.0.337-01 (listed on the device). Went to upgrade to 1.0.0-06 which is the fix for the sleep mode. Out of the four devices, only one still works. The warning on TrendNet's web site should say "3 out of 4 devices will fail after firmware upgrade", not "Firmware upgrade failure may permanently damage the unit and cause it to malfunction."
There is a problem with the microwave interfering with the device, which it should not. I could understand if it was a wireless signal, not a wired.
There is a degradation in the signal quality when under heavy sustained traffic (ie: gaming, streaming audio and flash games on a separate system).
Overall Review:
As I still have one unit, will purchase another set so that I do not have to use wireless.
