This review is from: Thermaltake VL84301W2Z V3 Black Edition with 430W Power Supply ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros:
Good air flow with plenty of fan ports for expansion.
Bottom mount power supply
Pre-punched motherboard tray makes it nice not to fiddle with riser pins so much.
Good looking design.
Cons:
Brittle plastic used on the front panel. The drive bay plate holders have no spring and bend nearly to the breaking point when taking out the bay covers. The 2 top mounting pegs in the front panel are also made of brittle plastic and one of them snapped off a finger while I was putting the front panel back onto the case being as gentle as I could be. The bottom 4 are made of metal and are sturdy.
Front panel power led connector is a 3 space pin connector with the blank space in the middle and the ASUS motherboard I was using just used a 2 pin connection, which forced me to take apart and move the connectors to a side by side configuration to work.
Overall Review:
I have used primarily Thermaltake cases for a long time. The last 3 cases I have used for myself have been in a Xaser III, Armor, and most recently the Chaser, non of which gave me a gripe. I know those are premium cases but at the same time your quality standards should remain in all of your case designs and unfortunately it is lacking a bit in this Case.
