Cordless? Do you even know how electricity works? 08/30/2013
This review is from: Kingwin ATS-W28 Cordless Wrist Strap
Pros:
Absolutely none unless you consider placebo a pro.
Cons:
I got this thing free with something else I bought years ago.
"Cordless" anti-static straps are known to be next to useless. The laws of physics are pretty clear on this issue. These *could* be mildly effective if (and only if) there was a capacitor inside that collected and held the charge and dissipated it while you weren't wearing it, but I saw no capacitor inside, only a resistor.
It isn't as if anti static wrist straps with cords and alligator clips are expensive. Don't fool around with this.
Overall Review:
I'm an electrical engineering major.
