This review is from: NETGEAR ReadyNAS 312 2-Bay Network Attached Storage Diskless (RN31200)
Pros:
-quiet
-hyper threaded Intel CPU yielding 4 virtual cores
-revamped, excellent user interface and built in java based web monitoring and config
Cons:
only 2 bays. but you get what you pay for. found this to be best value versus 4 bay units. If I really need to, can upgrade with 5 bay expansion chassis in future (sold separately)
Overall Review:
This unit streams 2 1080p DTX/Dolby Digital movies to two different televisions via N wifi with zero lag or stuttering. Backups for serious work are easy to setup and monitor. Enterprise grade backup that sits on a desk or in a closet. I actually bought two; so I have full redunancy possible at SOHO level.
