Pros:
DC in. HDMI or Display port output. SPDIF out. 5 channel audio output.
4 SATA ports. include SATA power connector for use with DC in.
Bios fan control is well designed, has 4 levels, each fan level is completely controllable, will allow the fans to spin slow enough that the fan itself is the one that determine the rotation speed. (no more speed reduction adapters needed)
can select 3 or 4 pin fan control.
can select the landed page when entering the bios.
Cons:
without overclocking options.
Overall Review:
the DC in option on this will work with any 19v laptop power adapter that fits.
i am using an old HP charger, but the newer one that i tried did not fit because it had a "keyway" in the plug.
asrock need to fix the 4pin fan control, because as of the bios 1.0 the fan speed "chuggs". (this does not happen with the 3pin fan speed)
did i mention the the fan controller in the bios is awesome?..
