Looks good with plenty of connectivity 05/12/2014
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P (rev. 1.0) AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros:
Love a full ATX board with all the connections I could ask for. Aligned perfectly with the standoffs on the motherboard tray. You would be surprised how often I have gotten a board that does not align properly. It's cool to have UEFI. I was grateful that everything I ordered worked and worked well together the first time I fired up the box. Also, the deep grey color looks great in my black case.
Cons:
Thought I had a bad NIC, but it turned out that you have to install the NIC drivers directly from the included CD. They won't install if you use Device Manager to locate them on the CD. After that everything was smooth sailing.
Overall Review:
I find it hard to review motherboards. If it works well and all the components work when hooked up and plugged in, that is 5 stars to me. No surprises is good.
