This review is from: D-Link Wireless Dual Band AC1200 Mbps USB Wi-Fi Network Adapter (DWA-182)
Pros:
The most important, and perhaps impressive thing about this product is the connection speed it provides. I have had no problems whatsoever with speed since I plugged this in. I am consistently getting a 25-30 Mbps download speed and right around 4-5 Mbps upload speed with this adapter, which suits my needs just fine. Another very nice thing about this product is the USB cord extender, which allows me to position the adapter in an area where it is getting less interference. Compared to the N600 adapter from Linksys (which I returned), this thing is night and day better.
As far as adapters go, this is one that I would recommend. It is a bit more expensive than most adapters, but well worth the cost based upon performance.
Cons:
I have no major complaints to report.
Overall Review:
I went to a retail store to pick this up, and though it ran be $60, I don't regret the purchase. I have been through two $40 adapters now, and both were complete duds. If I am going to need to pay $20 to get the kind of internet connection I want for gaming, then so be it.
