5 out of 5 eggs Can't go wrong with a Gigabyte board 02/16/2015

This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-X99-UD3 LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros:

Cheap for an X99 board, yet still have a fantastic amount of features. Love the UEFI on it, overclock is nice and organized with this board. Gigabyte boards have a distinctive quality about them that you can feel when handling them.

Cons:

Had to update BIOS before I could do anything, it wouldnt even let me go above 30% GPU usage on a 980 without updating bios from the revision 1 that it comes with. Once I updated bios to v6, the latest version, it reboots 25% of the time on startup in order to get into windows, and then resets my OC everytime it does that random hard reset. Incredibly annoying. Not that this matters too much, but the board is not exactly the aesthetic center piece of your rig, quite bland.

Overall Review:

Other than that BIOS bug, this board is great.
