- 3TB, SATA 6Gb/s, 64MB
- Higher performance with Seagate AcuTrac servo technology
- Best for Desktop or all-in-one PCs, home servers and Entry-level (DAS)

This review is from: Seagate Desktop HDD ST3000DM001 3TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Pros:
Works fine when it actually does 'work.' Ive had 3 total so far.
Cons:
One lasted for a couple years before finally dying on me and losing all my files, which happens. But this recent one really shouldnt be on its last leg with very minimal use -minimal being I only had like 10 files on it- in a raid 1 setup. Ive only had the most recent drives a few months.
Overall Review:
Personally, I might have recommended it in the past, but dying on me with barely any write or reading to it so soon? Probably not anymore. I would look up 'best hard drive' and take a look at the statistics. Nothing I can do about this drive, its a paperweight now. No warranty.
