HyperX Cloud II USB headset 01/12/2016
This review is from: HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset with 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound for PC / PS4 / Mac / Mobile - Gun Metal
Pros:
-Great sound, at first I didn't think this would be much of an upgrade from my Razer Kraken, but this headset blows it out of the water as far as rotational sound and comfortability goes.
-High quality braided wires
-Block in the line that allows control over mic volume and PC volume, as well as a 7.1 sound toggle.
-Very nice looking, I've had this headset for ~7 months with no signs of wear and tear yet.
-Comes with replacement muffs that are a cozy fabric instead of the leather muffs that come on it.
-Incredibly comfortable, I mentioned earlier they were more comfortable than my Razer Krakens. This is an incredibly comfortable headset, I can sleep with it on.
-Very nice packaging. Packaging is top of the line, inside the initial cover box there's another high quality gray box with the HyperX logo on it. Reminded me of the boxes that iProducts come in. inside is shaped foam that the headset and all accessories fit in.
-Comes with replacement ear muffs, detachable microphone, microphone port cover, 3.5 mm to USB adapter, L/R splitter, and a drawstring bag to carry it in.
Cons:
-One thing I noticed is this headset isn't as bassy as my razer kraken. Not a problem at all for gaming (audiosurf?). Still has top quality sound, just not an extremely bassy headset like the kraken is.
Overall Review:
100% would recommend for given price. I believe I payed ~$95 for this and it is worth every penny. I caught this on sale, but I would say it would be worth paying the full price for.
