Pros:
Holds my data, works with my system and doesn't require any special unlocking.
Good performance for a platter drive. My programs and games load fine and transferring data between other sources to and from it have decent speeds. Fairly quiet, even when under a load or defragging. - This is only for a single drive, nothing configured in a RAID array. I do not know how this drive functions as a RAID.
Simple to install and comes with a little packet of mounting screws, just in case you need some.
Cons:
Doesn't spontaneously expand its size into a larger drive at night.
Overall Review:
Drives are a gamble. You can get ones that are DOA, have bad sectors or fail within a few months. Drives get tossed around during transit. Things can happen. I've only had this one for a short time so it is too soon to judge. I've had various HDs from various companies over the years and I've always had good luck with the WD Black series drives. If anything happens to it, I'll update the review.
