Micro Express International Inc. was founded in 1994 as a computer sales and service center in Thornton, Colorado by Alex Kaydanov, who previously worked as a computer technician and then store manager for Micro Express Inc. An electrical engineer by trade, Alex Kaydanov had plenty of experience in building, repairing, fixing and testing computer systems.
At first the store was operating primarily as a retail sales and service center since the Internet was at it’s first stages at that time. However, once the Internet became more and more advanced, we began to look for opportunities to utilize the advantages of the World Wide Web. That is why the moment Ebay started its operation, we immediately seized the moment and began selling products on line. Another milestone in our evolution was the opening of a Yahoo store where we sold older, obsolete, hard to find, and legacy products.
The launch of the DreamHardware.com website
One of our main dreams was to have our own web site offering a wide range of products. Therefore the user friendly website DreamHardware.com, was the natural response to this desire. With more than 20,000 items in stock and an easy navigation system, DH provides it’s visitors those hard to find, obsolete, discontinued, and legacy products.
All products that we sell are in our physical possessions, inspected, tested and warrantied. Having over 20 years of computer hands-on experience and knowledge of different types of technologies, old and new, we put a lot of emphasis on quality and testing and customer support. We understand that people who are looking for these products need them fast so we offer same day shipping on pretty much all orders placed before 5pm Mountain Standard Time.
When we don’t have particular items in stock, we try to analyze the situation and based on the customer's needs we often offer a substitute product, which is fully compatible with the one that the customer needs. Knowledge, expertise and customer service are the keys to our success.
