A: We deliver component and accessory orders within 3-12 working days. We deliver orders for laptops within 7-12 working days. Your estimated lead time will be provided to you at checkout at time of shipping method selection. Q: Why is there a long lead time for laptop orders?

A: Most laptops we sell on Newegg are customized and will require time to build to spec and QC.

Q: How do I get technical support and warranty service?

A: As an authorized build to order dealer for several brands, HIDevolution proudly offers technical support and warranty service for the products we sell and customize. Q: Are the parts installed by HIDevolution covered by the manufacturer or HIDevolution?

A: HIDevolution covers warranty on parts installed by HIDevolution. Any upgraded or changed components installed by HIDevolution will match the manufacturer's warranty period. Any upgraded or changed components installed by HIDevolution will NOT void the manufacturer's warranty. However, claims for parts installed by HIDevolution must be claimed from HIDevolution. Faults that have been determined to be caused by a manufacturer installed core component, such as but not limited to the VGA card, motherboard, original CPU, speakers, hinges, original display panel, etc, may still be claimed under the manufacturer's warranty through the manufacturer without HIDevolution acting as the intermediary party. In other words, please contact us for initial support and warranty service!

Computer works like a champ, but only had the SSD upgraded so seller didn't do much to base model. Here is a tale of a horrible customer service. Problems arose when my SSD randomly failed and wouldn't allow me to boot into windows. Called support on 19th Nov. and they found out the problem quickly, the only part that happened quickly. All I needed to do was get a SSD replacement. Tried to do an advance replacement where they ship the SSD to me first and I return my dead one. Had to create a ticket and then played reponse tag for days. 20th was asked a question and I'd respond and not hear back. Had to wait till Monday 23rd, since they're closed weekends, to call and get him to respond on the ticket. Then I'd respond and get nothing. Then call the next day, and get a response. Now its finally Wednesday the 25th before Thanksgiving and we're trying to get it figured out since they're closed till Monday. Could not get the quote to work after hours of trying, and had to work so decided to put it off till Monday the 30th. On Monday I decided to ship my SSD to them first to get it moving and had it sent that day. Gets there Friday but isn't unpacked until Tuesday. Call them pretty upset about the hold up and ask for priority mailing which they said they would. Was told it should've been shipped to me the 9th, but didn't receive tracking until the 11th, the actual day it shipped. Now its the 22nd and it's still not here because now its all tied up in holiday packages. Check on the type of mail they used and its not priority, just first class usps mail...the cheapest way you can send it. The shipping I can kinda be ok about given the season, but the fact it took me over a week to get the info to ship my SSD when it could've been done in a couple hours, is absolutely insane. Will never consider buying anything from them again.

The customer has received his replacement SSD. We have resolved the issue with the customer. We feel the customer's anger may be misdirected. The majority of the waiting time was due to delays in USPS transit and NOT due to a delay in our actions. Our ticket/email response time is 1-2 working days. We responded within 1-2 business days each time. Below is a timeline of events. The long Thanksgiving weekend, his decision to go with a standard exchange instead of advance exchange, and the busy holiday season slowed down the process. 11/19 - initial contact [11/21 - 11/22 weekend] 11/23 - We troubleshot the issue by phone, diagnosed issue, action plan = new SSD [Thanksgiving weekend 11/26 - 11/29] 11/30 - Customer decided on the standard core exchange [12/5 - 12/6 weekend] 12/8 - We checked in the faulty SSD 12/10 - We shipped the new SSD USPS 9400111298287891933166 Regarding shipping, I do see we promised expedited shipping on 12/8. We missed that part, but to state the facts USPS First Class Mail gets sorted with Priority Mail and transit time is more or less the same for either service (see below). I have to say it is unusual for First Class Mail packages to take longer than 3 days to reach the destination. I chalk up the delay to the busy holiday package volume. I was really excited about this product. I gave a lot money for it. It has been 2 weeks that I ordered this product. I am gonna out of town in two days. I have not recieve it yet. Service is so awful.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER! Scammers!

I contacted this seller directly via email with Newegg's on site option and they haven't even gotten back to me at all due to the concern of my shipping trackage. It's now been 4 days since it says "shipped" in the tracking status but it also says that UPS Has not received the package after 4 days from the last update. It shouldn't take more 2 days for an update after it was supposedly shipped unless you'regetting it from overseas. I don't trust these guy and will be starting a refund TO CANCEL. My guess is they falsely update a tracking status to get your hopes up thinking you're going to be getting what ordered but NOPE!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS... SELLER.!!!! BUYER BEWARE

We messaged the customer on Dec 3 advising him we plan to deliver within 12 working days. We also messaged the customer on Dec 7 his order was marked shipped on Newegg to prevent it from automatically voiding and that we plan to deliver within the commitment window provided at the time of order. The order was delivered Dec 17 per the delivery commitment provided. We usually deliver orders well before the latest commitment time. We are working as hard as we can with the limitations of COVID during this busy holiday season.

I wanted a touchscreen gaming computer and their website had what I wanted. It was souped up by HIDevolution and I’m very pleased with what I got for the money. I ordered it on a Monday and it was delivered on the following Monday! Granted we’re both on the west coast, but I was impressed with the 7 day turnaround. No complaints here.

Additional hardware onboard

There were was an additional chip soldered (badly) inside of the laptop. I removed it and it performed better and didn't connect to and send out data at random times. Not cool. I'll shop elsewhere next time. I'll trash this laptop. Not trust worthy seller.

We do not solder "additional chips" on laptops and the likelihood of resolving an issue by desoldering/removing something on the motherboard is highly unlikely. We do not understand what the customer means by "didn't connect to and send out data at random times". This customer did not contact us about any issues. We therefore feel this feedback is unfounded and not based on facts. Regardless, we encourage customers to contact us if there is an issue and to give us a chance to resolve the matter.

Terrible customer service. They charged for purchase and literally never put it in the mail. When I contacted them they responded once asking what the order number was, I provided and then they never responded again after multiple emails. Had new egg contact seller and they still did not respond. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.

First of all this laptop is very powerful with solid build quality. Im satisfied with my choice. Though I notice 2 problems in the device: 1- the laptop has a hot area under the (WASD) keys which is a bit annoying when gaming 2- the fans are very load even under low performance loads. The major dissatisfaction though came from the seller. The seller missed their delivery promises more than 3 times and every time I contact them through the email they promise me to ship it in the “next week”. Moreover when I received the laptop after A looong wait the CPU fan was not working! The laptop was shutting down because of CPU overheat. I tried to debug the problem and it was clearly a hardware issue. I contacted the sellers through emails (which throws a ticket and keeps u waiting) but no quick response. At last I contacted them by live chat and a tech support (which I thank for her support) suggested that the problem was that the fan cable was not connected correctly. She suggested that I fix it by myself (after confirming that this will not void the warranty) and sent me a step by step video how to do it. And she was correct, i found the loose end CPU fan cable and attached it correctly. Which lets me question the quality of work the seller did when they upgraded the CPU and GPU thermal paste. I also noticed thermal past drops on the heatsink pipes which gives me the impression that the quality of work is definitely sloppy and dose not honor their message to the customers. Hope they fix their service as I think that they have good value that they can offer for the customers if they focused on the quality and customer care specially with this tear of asking price, those areas cannot be ignored.

I understand the current global situation, but my shipment was still delayed even further. Not to mention that the local shipping company messed up and delayed 2 week for no reason while they are fully functional. Minor damage to the Laptop Asus box, and it was super hot which indicates the box was left out in open sun, obviously it is not HIDevolution to blame but, I hope they stress on the shipping agencies to handle with care. Specifically the Newegg.com international shipping. As for the Product itself, I'm just beyond satisfied... Truly Asus has done a great job!!!
