The bulb I purchased was not as described. In fact, the bulb did not fit my UV unit, and the seller requested that I modify the cable that plugs into the bulb to get it to fit. I was not willing to do that, so I requested a refund and a shipping label. I never got a shipping label, so I shipped it back at my own expense, and had to remind the seller twice before the refund was issued.

Why asked to rate an experience when item not received

I tried to cancel this orde within an hour after having been placed. Newegg sent an email “on my behalf” cancelling. Then I got an invoice showing I had been charged snd a tracking #. Tracking shows only a label was created and nothing beyond that. Yet I receive a request to rate my experience. The experience has been poor and I have no item to show for it.

Wrong Item and the won't accept their own RMA material

The item was not the same size as indicated on the site. So I requested an RMA (Return Material Authorization). Today I got the RMA package BACK saying it was not accepted and was being sent back Return To Sender. This is crazy. I have already eaten the return shipping fee once. How many times does this have to happen??

I needed two replacement bulbs for my UVC germicidal Air Purifier and some places had one bulb or the other, but I needed the set to work. Also prices varied widely and who doesn't want A GOOD DEAL. I was able to accomplish both with the Light Bulb Store, nuff said...

They almost immediately bought a shipping label that prevented me from easily just canceling the order. I had to file a claim to get a refund. I asked several times about what was happening and rather than answering my questions directly, they forwarded the same email template explaining that they were unable to get the item and that it would ship in several weeks. The shipping date just kept getting farther out nearly 2 months later. Meanwhile, I got a more powerful one from another vendor in a week. I would understand if this were a backorder but they said on Newegg they were in stock. I contacted Newegg after the second email and they were STILL reporting as in stock. I would NEVER buy anything from this vendor again.

For the second time we were shipped the wrong replacement bulb even though the one we needed is pictured on the web site. Don't know if it is Newegg's fault or the Light Bulb Store. Itstead of replacing the incorrect bulb, the Light Bulb Store issued a credit but did not reimburse the shipping charge-note error was their fault vs anything we did. Call to find out why the correct bulb wasn't shipped and was told we would have to reorder the bulb and they would issue a credit for the shipping. You are right, the secord order arrived and the same incorrect bulb was shipped the second time and as of yet I haven't been issued a credit for shipping. I am hoping they ship the correct replacement bulb but I not counting on it. The price was reasonable, the shipping time was good, even the customer service rep was nice but I still don't have the correct UV bulb. Help Newegg!!

This company "SUCKS"! When you finally get your product it might work. Although one of the bulbs I purchased from them did not. All I wanted was a replacement for the defective bulb but as turns out I'm still waiting for one. It's up to me to return their bulb back to them using my own money. As for contacting the company "LIGHT BULB STORE" good luck. First you have to go through a second party i.e. "Newegg" to reach them. Then once you do NO ONE calls you or they will send a NO CONTACT email to you so you can't respond. HOW IS THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE? This is why I give LIGHT BULB STORE a rating of "THEY SUCK"! I wouldn't even give them a single egg on the listing above if possible. One other thing, I received two emails from LIGHT BULB STORE that say "Return the Items". Why should i return both items if I purchased them separately and one of them works? That just doesn't make sense. I even attempted to call them as they (LBS) are in PA. Still no call back. Now I understand with this Covid thing going on doesn't mean a company can slack on it's customer service if your going to accept payment for an item! Just be wary of a company (LBS) who refuses to list contact info.

Light Bulb Store misrepresented their ability to deliver UV Lights on time

Light Bulb Store charged a premium for UV Lights that it could not deliver in the time agreed to. When I contacted their customer service, I was given excuses with no ETA commitment and no offer of a refund.

Still waiting for seller to ship... It's been 14 days since a label was created and tracking number provided by USPS, but once my card was charged apparently they thought that was enough, as they've yet to actually send my package. But they sure were fast to take my money!
