Pros: +Came with MSI Gaming OC RTX 3070 so I'm very happy with the GPU (YMMV the GPU is random) +CPU stays cool gaming @5.1Ghz with the Thermaltake AIO cooler +I like the Thermaltake RGB ring LED on case fans. +Modular PSU +Mesh front of case allows great airflow to keep everything cool.
Cons: -Memory only running at 2133mhz, you need to enable XMP profile in BIOS (press DEL during POST to access BIOS). This is a big miss imho as gaming performance will be bottlenecked by the memory until corrected. -Windows 10 was 2 major updates behind (1909), over a year old. Microsoft has added better support for ray tracing in 2020 so you will want to update that asap. -Nvidia drivers were not installed correctly, kept getting a pop-up Nvidia control panel was not installed. Downloading latest drivers and selecting clean install did the trick. -AIO cooler and 240mm rad fans not lighting up, I need to pull all the wiring out for a closer look to see what isn't plugged in. -There is a Thermaltake adapter/controller I found in the included motherboard box, not sure why this wasn't plugged in already. Maybe it conflicts with the Rosewill rgb controller that is inside the case. -The pre-loaded Gigabyte APP Center seems to keep the CPU at 10% usage while it is running. Closed the app completely and CPU usage dropped to 1%.
Overall Review: Took off 1 egg for XMP not being enabled on the RAM. Very Strong 1440p gaming performance, absolutely crushes 1080p Didn't have much time to test gaming performance yet, briefly tested Overwatch (mostly Ultra settings no AA): FFA 1440p ~280-340 fps. FFA 1080p 400fps steady
