Pros: I must admit I've never contemplated buying an Acer computer. Working in the tech field for decades I'm very familiar with Acer and never heard bad things, I'm just a Dell fan. However when looking for a Windows 7 preloaded system, this computer stood out. So I figured I would give it a shot and I'm glad I did. I've had the computer up and running for awhile now and it's been solid. Loaded up all my personal stuff, no issues. This computer is very fast and truthfully quieter then any Dell I've owned. Acer used quality internal components and it's a nice looking tower. I don't anticipate adding hardware but there is room to grow. The motherboard has 4 memory slots and having HDMI on the motherboard is a nice addition. Also being able to have dual monitors, using only motherboard video is a great option. 12 - USB2 ports and 2 - USB3 ports, more then I would ever use. Created the restore and driver disks without issue.
Cons: While I gave this computer a solid five stars, there are a couple things to mention. Acer went cheap on the keyboard and mouse. Not a big deal as these are inexpwnsive things to buy but unfortunate that they choose to save a few bucks on the two things a person uses daily. I'm pretty spoiled using Dell and IBM/Lenovo websites on a daily basis. Acer's support website leaves alot to be desired in comparison for self help with configurations, drivers etc. Time will tell how that plays into the Acer experience.
Overall Review: If you are looking for a solid well priced Windows 7 computer, look no further. The Intel motherboard with the core i3 processor is awesome. Haven't confirmed but I believe it's also upgradeable to the i7, should it need a boost down the road. Acer has been around for years and having used their products in my work world, I have no complaints with the company. I would have no hesitation recommending this product.
Pros: Lightning fast PC that's loaded with quality parts.
Cons: keyboard and mouse
Overall Review: This unit is perfect for everday use.
Pros: This desktop is what I expected it to be. I don't care about the psu n graphics because I already have 2 600w prepared and my pny gtx 460. Played crysis with no problems.
Cons: We'll see later on.
Overall Review: This is the first acer product that I bought and now acer's on my buying list.
Pros: Runs fast! I was pleasantly surprised! Even though it has no graphics card i'm impressed with the performance. Full screen HD runs great with no stuttering. The machine is very quiet (especially compared to the old desktop I replaced). It has TONS of USB ports. NO BLOATWARE! I love this. Very few things I had to uninstall (McAfee Virus being the main one). I like the looks of the computer (glossy black). Might attract dust but it's hiding under the desk. Knowing that I can upgrade this is great (PCI graphics card). The price was cheap! Try to find an intel core I3 with 6gb ram and 1TB hard drive for under 500 anywhere else. WINDOWS 7! Not packaged with 8 so I enjoy that!
Cons: Integrated graphics (it was under 500 bucks so can't expect high level graphics card).
Overall Review: It's nice to work in the quiet. This computer is already serving me well. I use it as a work computer and it can do everything I throw at it. It's a great little machine. You can't go wrong for under 500!
Pros: This is a great computer...I really needed Windows 7...This is Windows 7....It has Dual Core Processor..It has a high definition video..It has 6 GB memory...It has 1 TB hard drive..It has all Intel chips..It has fast USB 3.0 ...It is great....It has reliability....It is even affordable..The manufactorer is great...Thanks for a great computer..It is Windows 7....I did not want Windows 8!!
Cons: I had trouble with the method of Backup..Send much time reading books....Do backup correctly..I did figure out backup..I had trouble with backup..Read lots of books..
Overall Review: I did not want Windows 8....Windows 7 was my only choice....This is a great computer...Reliable.Affordable.Great parts...Great manufacturer....This computer is great..
Pros: Good construction, extra memory slot open in a new box (which seems to be rare these days), Win7, quiet and fast. Plenty of horsepower to run multiple and fairly intensive apps at the same time.
Cons: I'm used to a traditional keyboard but this one is more like a laptop with a lot of the keys that are usually separated by some space all jammed together. No big deal considering the price I paid and the cost of a better keyboard.
Overall Review: I was amazed at how quickly I was able to get this machine out of the box and up and running. I like that it has Win7 with the $15 upgrade to Win8 after all the crash test dummy customers of Bill Gates are done doing his bug testing for him! This machine handles multiple, fairly highly intensive, applications running at the same time. I'm a ham radio operator and do a lot of digital radio communications and it's great to be able to do that at the same time that I am running a video conference.
Pros: A great machine that is well built and is very stable and reliable, especially since it is a "Family" user computer
Cons: It would have been great if it had come with additional internal hard drive storage.
Overall Review: I'd buy another tomorrow if it was the same price and came with a Windows 7 product. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with this unit!!!

Pros: Snappy Processor Quality WD Caviar Green HDD Lots of USB Ports (including 2 USB 3.0 ports) Perfect for upgrading
Cons: Hard-To-Remove Metal PCI Slot Covers OK graphics
Overall Review: Pros - - I am really surprised at the speed of the i3 2120 processor! Runs cool (65W) and can't hear the fan! Perfect system to upgrade down the road since the motherboard's processor slot will accept an i7 or Xeon processor. Also surprised to see a Western Digital Caviar Green HDD inside. It's not lightning-fast (though good), but the quality hard drive is a welcome addition. Case has adequate space for extra hard drives, cards, etc... A good first upgrade would be a SSD for OS and Programs. Cons - - PCI slot covers are hard to remove - not the typical cover and screw. Rather, you have to bend the slot until the metal piece breaks off. Graphics are good, but probably not for graphic-rich applications - easily fixed by adding a video card.
