Question 1

Is this product brand new and sealed and genuine???
because the price seems too good to be true and is there any other extra charge or anything that i may need to know about this?
what is the configuration??

I was impressed to have a totally new machine.  The PS is windows 8.1, which is a nice feature, and easier to use than the original 8.0.  With a free download of Windows 10 in the horizon, you may want to snap this laptop up.

Question 2

This is remarkable price for this notebook while other vendors are asking near twice as much.  Is this new?  refurbished?  Just seems too good to be true, reviews are nothing short of stellar, so I'm taking a chance on it.  Came close to buying an older used one, previous generation, poor battery life reviews, for more than this price.  This is an eye opener.

The cost is for a New product, the reason it is low is due to small little cut backs to reduce price such as: screen is 15" not 17" which most laptops of this capacity are, screen is also of ok quality(Good, but not Great), hard drive is slow at 5400rpm despite the big 1TB capacity and it lacks a CD/DVD drive.

Hello, I thought the battery life was supposed to be 8 hours, but my new ACER is showing 2.2 hours!! I am greatly concerned. 
Has anybody else had this problem?

I did not have this issue.. but definitely not 8 hrs :) that's if you dim the screen to the max and only use winword or let the computer idle

low I think 400GB....... BUT THIS COMPUTER IS FOR A 4 YR OLD.....
