This laptop comes with a 512 GB solid state drive (SDD) in the PCIe Gen 3 slot. There is a SDD PCIe Gen 4 slot that is open (right next to the Gen 3 slot) that is open for another SDD, if you wish to add another storage drive. You can't put any hard disk drives (HDD's) into this device; physically, there's no room or interface/power connectors within the case. If you want to use HDD instead of SDD storage drive(s) with this unit, it would have to be an external HDD.
