is this laptop has DVD/CD slot coming along with it?

It doesn't have a DVD/CD player included. The bay is there but it would require a caddy (?? not sure of that since I was looking to install a 2nd hard drive in that space) and the proper cable and adapter to connect to the motherboard. Not for the faint of heart as it would require partial dis-assembly. A USB external player is much easier and works adequately.

Does this laptop have built in speakers and/or audio ports to plug in speakers or headphones?

No, it does not.

Regardless, I will say that  I have been very happy with this computer.  I've only had it about 1 month, but the performance per price ratio is fantastic.  I've been using it for both application development and gaming.

Question 4

What is the hard drive interface to install an SSD? (SATA III , M.2, etc)
And  can a 2nd drive be installed (parts needed if it can) and interface also?

The standard SATA will work.  I put the Samsung 1 TB 840 EVO in there as soon as I got the Laptop up and running.  The 1 TB it comes with is 5400 rpm WD which is really slow.  Max speed is about 20mb/s on that drive.

I didn't look carefully to see if there was another slot for the Hard drive or M.2 port.  You should check YouTube for that.  I used YouTube to see how to remove the computer's backing.

You need to remove all of the screws on the back of  Acer Laptop Aspire E5-772G-76ED.  After you pour out all the screws; use the Philips screw driver and push out through the screw holes.  You will need to use a plastic screw driver or credit card to loosen the fasteners around the whole laptop.

Once that is done, you'll need to remove the keyboard and the ribbon cable as well.  Not one of those easy laptops to replace a HD with a SSD.  Again, I didn't really look inside of it.  I just wanted to get it done and over since it took me a while to figure it out.  I didn't noticed an extra HD slot, maybe M.2.

Boot time with the WD 1 TB 20mb/s 5400 rpm drive after 3 boots was roughly 3 minutes average before the computer became responsive.  
SSD 1 TB 480 mb/s after 3 boots was roughly 7 seconds average.

After the upgrade, the computer was like 2 classes above what it should be.  Great laptop and I would recommend getting it.  Used it many times, installed many softwares and the boot time remains at 7 seconds from a full shut down.

Does this have a spot for a M.2 SSD? How difficult is it to install? (i.e., does it require removing the keyboard/motherboard?)

The upgrade looks painful and will most certainly void the warranty.

It does not have a DVD or CD drive.  I don't find this to be a problem as most software is downloaded from online now and anything else can be transferred or stored much more efficiently and quickly on flash drives now.

Question 7

Does anyone know if the SilverStone TS09 caddy will fit the ODD slot on this laptop, since no ODD drive is there?If not, can anyone recommend a caddy that would fit?

Also, is there a spare port on the mobo to allow for connecting either an ODD or second HDD/SSD with the caddy? If so, what type of port is it?

The ODD is already used to install the 2.5 inch HDD by refurbisher since the laptop originally came with 1.8 inch micro SATA SSD of special design with adaptor which is gone after refurbishing. Obviously originally the ODD bay was used for the second normal HDD inside the caddy or even for the optical device itself.

Anybody know if Windows 7 64-bit drivers are available for this model?

There are no windows 7 drivers listed on their website for this model, only 8 and 10.
