Just got mine (An Aspire S 13 S5-371-52JR) out to double check: on mine the screen glass is matte finish

What is the battery life on this laptop?

Battery life is impressive. They list it as up to 11 hours, but I can easily see someone getting 12 or more. I spent 4 hours updating, installing software and transferring files and was still over 70%.

Would this PC run CSGO well?

Yeh on lowest settings would probably be okay.
