"Disk drive" is an ambiguous term as it can mean either a hard disk drive or an optical disk drive.
This laptop has a 750GB hard disk drive.
The laptop does not have a optical disk drive aka a CD or DVD drive; it cannot read CDs or DVDs.

Be aware that this is an ultralight laptop.  It is thin and so it must avoid containing unnecessary components.  It had no optical disk drive and its battery is integrated and cannot be removed.

its great as long as you dont plan to OC it. 
idle its at about 45C, but while runing furmark the hottest mine got (while i was OC'd) was 104C (thats when i got liquid cooling for it) and not OC'd was 85C

I notice that it only says Windows 8.  Does this happen to be Windows 8 64-bit or 32-bit.  I would severely hope that it's 64-bit if it comes with 6GB of RAM or else what's the point of having that much memory?

Well it comes with windows 8, and I updated to windows 8.1 last week. I would assume it's a standard edition of Win8 as it is not designated any other way.
