32-bit or 64-bit Windows on this machine?

This machine comes with Windows 8.1 32 bit preinstalled. I was also able to upgrade it to Windows 10 32 bit for free.  It's a pretty straight forward process.  After the Windows 10 upgrade, I decided to wipe the machine clean and re-install Windows 10 from scratch to save some storage space and remove junk ware.  Needed a little extra work - but this is also a very straight forward process.  I was able to install a 32GB microsd card and then install office on the sd card. I now have about 15GB free on the internal drive as well as another 18GB free on the sd card. I would highly recommend this computer for folks looking to do Word and PowerPoint work.  It also makes a great movie player - has a nice bright screen.
However - do be aware of the limited internal storage and that you may need an external microsd card - would recommend 32 or 64 GB.
( also on sale $7 / $15 ). You can also save movies on a basic 16GB usb thumb drive.

Also was able to upgrade to windows 10 with no issues

I've upgraded this unit to Windows 10.  If you have a card reader that you're intending to install or connect to this unit via USB, I would assume that the OS will handle 128GB at least.  Buy the best rated, least expensive ($30) 128GB Micro SD Card and see what you get.
