I want 8GB memory and 256GB in a 14" Acer TravelMate with Window 7 Professional 64-bit.  What does your product mean "not included HDD"?

Hi,

Not an Acer rep, just bought the product a couple weeks ago. "not included HDD" means that there is not a disk hard drive included (one of the old style ones with moving parts). It comes with a 256 GB Solid State Drive though. Some laptops will come with both an "SSD" and a "HDD" but the 256 GB in this one has been more than adequate for me.

I see on Acer's website that the operating system is Win 7 Pro (pre-installed), but via "downgrade rights" from Windows 8 Pro.  Does this system from NewEgg come with both Win 7 Pro and Win 8 Pro licenses?

it comes without RAM? or without a HDD? This doesn't make sense, please clarify.

It's really confusing the way they worded it, but the "not included" is referring the hard drive. It comes with 8 GB of RAM, a 256 GB SSD, and no hard drive.
