Pros: -Powerful; Plain and simple, this processor shreds, with the recommended RAM upgrade, you will be running 4 to 5 programs with 0 issue. -Minimal Bloatware; It took me 30-40 minutes to get the standard bloatware uninstalled, Windows up to speed, and all of the programs downloaded that I use to function (MSE, Mozilla, ect). -Size/Weight; For a 17.3", this computer is actually quite small. It's very sleek and streamlined without feeling cramped or shrunk. It also won't break your shoulder, and can be comfortably carried in a messenger bag all day. -Webcam; The focus range, detail, and light enhance on this Camera is simply amazing. It is truly a stunning piece of equipment.

Cons: -Speakers; All in all, the quality of the sound is fantastic, but the umph behind it is just weak. At full blast, they fail to impress. -Viewing Angle; It's a very finicky screen. If you shift in your seat a lot like I do you find you will constantly be adjusting the screen forward and back. The side to side viewing is fine.

Overall Review: -Battery Life; If you are not using this as a portable desktop monster then you're going to be highly disappointed. Without the screen turned down to minimum settings, if you're doing anything expect 1 hour to be your operating range. -RAM; I did a RAM upgrade week 1 and saw massive improvement in speed and functionality. What is installed works well, but 8 gigs really improves upon the formula. -Graphics Power; Meh worthy. I expected more from a dedicated card, but this gets the job done. Don't expect to run Crysis wide open, but it will definitely knock out some World of Warcraft. -Graphics Drivers; The drivers that come with the Laptop are functional, but you can find better ones from ATI/AMD's support site. -Screen Latch; Simply, there isn't one. For me this wasn't a concern, and the hinges provide enough resistance it won't randomly open if you set it down weird. It lends to the sleek case, but I was surprised at the lack of one.

Pros: Very fast, no crashing or freezing. Came in two days with great packaging. looks way better than the picture. Finis is really nice and doesn't look dirty even when ti is, Haha. AMAZING GRAPHICS POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: very short battery life. Probably only about 1:45 before having to recharge when using wifi and full screen brightness. But it's a huge screen so what do you expect?

Overall Review: Possessor is amazingly fast but does run a touch hot. As long as it's on a hard surface with nothing blocking the vent then you can run it like crazy. I have gotten this thing going with WOW on full everything and it doesn't even slow down. I do a lot of programming so the screen size was the big thing but when i got it I was amazingly at how lite and thin it was. WAY MORE THAN THE PIC!!! Key board types really well. Extra batteries are only about 40 dollars so that's no big deal. This thing is as fast as any i7 laptop that I have tried... even ones that are well over a thousand. Quad core is a must now. It is using all the cores at all times. It really is fully twice as fast as a dual core.

Pros: I honestly didn't know what to expect once I opened the box because the price for a piece of hardware like this is just too good to be true! And when I opened the box, it was even better than I had expected. The keys are smooth and have textured it feels really nice to type. The trackpad works great, and truthfully I don't know what some of these other reviewers are talking about but to me the display is AMAZING!!! It's so clean and smooth and the quad-core processor really does its work. Boot up time is extremely fast and it doesn't run that hot at all unless you like to use it on your bed and just leave it on your blanket...obviously!! The volume is pretty decent considering... and I can play games like Team Fortress 2 without any problems whatsoever!!

Cons: I would've really liked dedicated volume buttons and perhaps a light for the CAPS button but I mean really it's not that necessary... You don't really need a light to tell you whether CAPS is on or not, but it wouldn't hurt neither.

Overall Review: You cannot go wrong for the price. And what made me a little angry is that a couple days after I bought it, they brought the price down even more!! It's 499 now I believe... Gee thanks a lot NEWEGG!!!

Pros: *5.1 Windows Experience Index. *Amazing bang for the buck. Shop around and you will find this hard to beat. *Keyboard keys are textured, which is strange, but I'm starting to like. *Screen is very nice. *Touchpad works well. Best sidebar scroller I've used. *Lightweight for its size. *Speakers are acceptable for a laptop. *Looks very cool, if that is important to you.

Cons: Non so far.

Overall Review: Runs Rift on Ultra. FPS does not drop even during spell effects from a 20 man raid in a water rift. This is more than I expected.

Pros: -Value: For the money, I doubt you can find a more feature-rich laptop -Speed: This laptop goes from pressing the power button to ready to perform in under a minute (note: this is after removing the bloatware that came pre-installed) -Performance: Running a web browser, an mp3 player, playing a .avi, with a 4 open chat windows and playing Civ 5? No sweat! The 2.2 GHz quad-core processor & Radeon HD 6470M handle it like a champ - even with the base 4GB RAM. Weight: Surprisingly light for a 17.3" laptop.

Cons: Bloatware: Almost EVERY pre-built PC comes with it. Be prepared to spend about an hour and a half tracking it down and uninstalling. The payback is a lightning fast laptop. Case material: The top lid just feels a little flimsy to me. It hasn't yet cracked, but I'm being delicate with it. If you intend to travel with it, a good, well padded laptop bag is a must. Heat: If you decide to try what I did under 'performance' above, be prepared to use a laptop cooler. Running at or above 50 C is typical. Portability: It's a 17.3" laptop, it's going to be bulky. Not heavy, mind you, but still a chore to lug around.

Overall Review: This laptop, despite the minor flaws, is still a great value for the money. If you can catch a Shell Shocker special for some good 4GB DDR3 laptop RAM, upgrading this laptop to 8GB will make this a true beast of a machine.

Pros: Price. Speed. Runs cool. Lack of extra buttons and lights was a plus for me.

Cons: Battery life, but I'm not carrying this thing around. Location of usb ports, would be nice to have at least one placed further back. Audio is really low.

Overall Review: This laptop is great for multimedia and light gaming. I can run BF2 and Starcraft 2 on high Medium-High settigs no problem. I also use it to hook up to my TV and stream movies off netflix so thats great although you will need to buy a HDMI cable to do that. I do carry this around in my backpack and it is huge and weights a good bit compared to a mac so not your average school notebook.
