Can new components be added to this PC?

I'm not "techy", but I just bought this and will try to answer your question.  "yes", components can be added.  This is a full size tower.  there are 4 expansion slots in the rear, and another below the CD.  As far as connections there's an unused long and short PCI slot.  There are 3 or 4 unused electrical connectors.  Again, I'm not a techy guy, so I'm not sure what plug those are for...but newegg did post pictures of an open case so you can see the motherboard and much of the wiring.  I suggest you look at that.  2 RAM slots, both used (comes with 4+2, can accept 8+8)

does it have dvd burner?

yes the size of a lap tap style. my system blew in 4 days and had to be sent back which took 14 days with the replacement of power supply. my local fed ex person said a lot of acers had been returned. good luck, next time i'll just build another. this is the first premade unit in the last 24 years.

If I want to install an SSD, will I have to buy an SSD cable or does the computer have an extra cord already?

There is an existing SATA cable, but you may need the power cable for the SSD.  There is an extra dock that can hold SSD, but you'll need screws.

Can I add another SSD to it while keep the 1T harddrive? Also, can I connect two monitors in extend mode?

Yes, the motherboard has 3 SATA ports. The 1T harddrive and the optical drive take up 2 ports. You can add another SSD to the 3rd SATA port. Yes, two monitors can run in extended mode if one monitor is VGA and the other is HDMI.
