I have 2 monitors  -will this computer work?  does it have 2 monitor ports?

It has a VGA port and an HDMI port. So you can use 2 monitors and extend the desktop as long as you have monitors that can connect to those 2 ports

Newegg specs describe this as a dual core and Acer describes this as a quad core.

set up wired only- sorry.   But...good news it works smoothly with a USB wireless adapter.    Part of the reason for the great price.     I'm happy with desktop though.

It's been working flawlessly in our office for 8 months now. Any motherboard attached network jack is susceptible to damage.

Hi there- as I understand it Microsoft will be releasing a free upgrade to Windows 10 for  Windows 8 and Windows 7 users. However, I do not know if that includes OEM (pre-installed) copies of Windows. However, you can always purchase and upgrade to Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. The upgrade path to Windows 8.1 is not included with the machine (like some Dell machines that come with both versions- 7 is loaded and the disk is there for the upgrade to Windows 8 if you decide to.)

Yes. It has two video ports, a VGA and a HDMI. You can run two monitors, but will need different cables. 
But would not recomend for gaming, the integrated graphics chip does not test well. More a utility build than luxury.

It does not have wireless built in. You would have to purchase a USB WiFi adapter separately.

Is it compatible with CAD 2014?
Does it include Microsoft Office?

As we're not graphics people, I don't know if CAD 2014 is compatible with this PC. Given that it only has 8GB of RAM (not sure if it's expandable)...I'd be hesitant to run full-blown graphics programs...but that's me.

It DOES include a trial version of MS Office 2015. We have OEM Office '10 so, I removed the trial and installed '10.

can I upgrade to Win 7 Professional?

As long as you have the media and a legitimate license for it, yes. Just make sure you install the 64 bit version and not the 32 bit version.

FYI, this is an absolutely incredible system. I snagged one (Bundle deal with a very nice 19" wide screen LED monitor).
