Question 1

Does it have a head phone jack on the back?

Accepted Answer

No headphone jack. Just VGA in and DVI in and power

Question 2

Is this HDMI compatible?

Accepted Answer

Oh no, I thought the question was for my Acer laptop.
No the Acer monitor is NOT HDMI compatible!!!

Question 3

Does this come with the DVI-I Dual monitor cable?

Accepted Answer

You can see it is included in one of the pictures, but I think is Single Link DVI-D. With Single Link you are ok since the monitor's maximun resolution 1920x1080@60Hz which is within the cable limitations, Dual Link means it supports higher resolutions.
DVI-D means it only carries digital signal while DVI-I means it carries both analog and digital signal. Keep in mind this monitor has a DVI-D connector, so you can only put digital signal in it.

I hope this can help you.

Question 4

does this monitor have a headphone jack?

Accepted Answer

No headphone jack. No built-in speakers.

Question 5

Has anyone had trouble with color? Just got the monitor yesterday and have had a terrible time getting the display to actually look nice. It's just a bright annoyance that gives me a headache

Accepted Answer

I have some issues with bright yellows, they display 'funky', nothing extreme and it is rarely an issue, but it doesn't happen with any of my other monitors.

Question 6

Is the power adapter 12volts? See the small print on the module
I want to use it in my camper without an inverter

Thanks!

Accepted Answer

The fine print on the adapter reads:

Input: 100-240V - 50/60HZ
Output: 19 V (diagram) 1.58 A (diagram)

That's only mention of voltage i see on the adapter module.

Hope it helps.

Question 7

is it Vesa compatible ?

Accepted Answer

No, this monitor is not VESA compatible.

Question 8

Is this product compatible with a desk mount such as Rosewill RHMS-11002?

Accepted Answer

Short answer is NO.
Long answer is the universal mounts need 4 evenly spaced screw holes that conform to VESA standards for monitor mounts. This monitor does not have VESA standard mounting holes.

Question 9

What is the aspect ratio for this monitor?

Accepted Answer

1920 x 1080 is a 16:9 ratio resolution. You can check by dividing 1920 by 16 and 1080 by 9 and if they both give you the same number (in this case, 120) therefore it's 16:9 ratio.
