How wide & tall is the G257HL? Acer's specs don't make sense. Here is what their site says:

Height 16.8", Height with Stand 16.34"
Width 22.7", Width with Stand 25.2"
Depth 7.3", Depth with Stand 4.9"

Need to know because it's for a hutch.

These are approximate measurements, but should help clear up their contradictory numbers.

Height:  13.8" (panel); 16.7 (with stand)
Width:  22.7" (stand makes no difference)
Depth:  1.6" (panel); 7.5" (with stand)

Does the audio work through HDMI cable? or do you have to use the audio cable?

There isn't one to speak of on this monitor just along the bottom were the name logo is and the power light.

The screen is supposed to be tilt-adjustable, but I cannot figure out how.  There are no screws or visible adjustments.  How do I tilt the screen backward (at present it is tilted forward, pointing down toward the desktop)?

It's just a very stiff hinge, at first I was confused as well.  But all you need to do is apply a little firm pressure and it should move.
