Why are there mechanical disks pictured in the sideview picture? This system has no mechanical disks.

The specs show 2x3.5" bays available. You would have to add your own drives. I assume there are SATA ports on the MB though that is not explicitly stated in the specs. Specs also show 1xM.2 slot available.
