Pros: Got it on sale for $99. Small bezel, slim design, light, low heat and power usage, fast and responsive, and content on-screen looks great. Was a huge upgrade from what I was using before (older HP LCD)

Cons: Acer's eDisplay program couldn't recognize my screen or something. No big deal though since I can control what I want on the monitor's OCD.

Overall Review: This monitor can tilt. I tilted it by first disconnecting the monitor from the base, and on the end of the connection on the stand and base, there is a hinge. That is how you can tilt the monitor. I wouldn't trust trying to tilt the monitor itself though, and would instead recommend manually adjusting the hinge and setting the screen on to see.

Pros: Thin, fast, good looking, solid, buttons are nice

Cons: Cant think of any 1600X900

Pros: Bright display with nice colors. Tilts enough for comfortable use on a desk. Light weight and thin profile make it easy to move around. The connectors on the back are easy to access.

Cons: The power button is annoying. It is clear plastic with a blue LED shining through; because of the shape, some of that light is reflected/refracted into your eyes. I would prefer the power light to be diffused. The bezel is shiny. I would prefer matte to reduce glare from lights. I also got one dead pixel. For these three problems I subtract one egg; while they are annoying when I am paying attention, I never notice them while playing games.

Overall Review: I dont have much space in my apartment so I only set up my computer when i want to play games. Since I take it apart and set it up multiple times per week, I appreciate the orientation of the connectors and light weight. The monitor is BRIGHT! Similar to my sony x1 laptop with LED backlit LCD, but much brighter than my lenovo x200.

Pros: These monitors are very lightweight and thin. LED is a plus. I love the way these monitors look on my desk, they are very sleek and modern looking. The picture and color are great for $100 monitor. Also, they were cheap!

Cons: The connectors for the video inputs are mounted perpendicular to the back of the monitor, so if you aren't careful on how you manage your cables, this can put a lot of pressure on those input connectors. As long as you set them up properly though, you shouldn't have to worry too much about it. The only other thing I didn't like about these monitors was the fact that the AC adapter uses a non-standard power cord, so if you lose the power cord, you can't use a standard replacement, you have to order a new one. Response time could be faster, but for $100, I'm not complaining.

Overall Review: I bought three of these to replace my 25" HP 2509b monitor and so that I could use Eyefinity when playing games like Battlefield 3. When the monitors arrived, one box was severely damaged. Upon opening the box, I realized that one corner of the monitor casing had snapped apart and separated from the actual screen. None of the plastic tabs appeared to be broken, so I simply snapped the two pieces back together and surprisingly, the monitor worked just fine! No light leaking or bad pixels or anything like that. Also, you might think a 20" monitor is pretty small, but when you put three of these side-by-side, they take up a lot of desk space. (I have an 8'x3' desktop and with these monitors and my two desktop speakers shoved behind them, there is JUST enough room for my keyboard and mouse to fit perfectly.) Just a note to those of you with limited room looking for a multi-display setup.

Pros: The Acer 20" LED-backlit display is a very thin, light-weight flat-panel display with excellent clarity and contrast. The optional neck and base attachments allow you to set it up on the desk, or maintain a sleek appearance when used with a wall-mount.

Cons: The power button is a small, clear, plastic tab that juts from the bottom of the display, and lights with a very bright LED. Larger Acer displays offer a capacitance-touch button that integrates cleanly with the frame. I would prefer to not worry about such a small plastic component extruding from the otherwise sleek monitor, because it seems like it could break easily. Not worth docking an egg, though.

Overall Review: I received 2 of these babies without any dead pixels, which matches my last experience with NewEgg monitor purchases (nearly 6 years ago, now). Acer produces high-quality displays which are solid investments for many, many years. They survive moderate abuse and I have no compliants about them.

Pros: Works As Advertised. Slim look with small foot print on the desk. Price was great. Comes with both DVI and regular monitor cables.

Cons: The stand bracket seems a little cheap. Adjusting the angle of the screen it difficult and almost nonexistent.

Pros: Low price, good image quality when it works.

Cons: 31 days (naturally) after purchase the screen began to jitter after a session of prolonged use. It was just a mild flickering at first, but after a few minutes it worsened to the point where the screen was unreadable Turning it off for a while solved the jitter for a while, but then it returned. I contacted Newegg immediately, but the monitor was past the return period. Meanwhile, the problems started happening sooner and sooner after turn on until I couldn't use the monitor at all. I contacted Acer customer service, who had me ship the monitor to them at my own expense. About a week later they returned it to me with a note saying that after there were no problems seen after a 24 hour burn in. The monitor worked fine for 3 weeks, but is now showing the same problem again.

Overall Review: I chose this monitor based primarily on the price and the high ratings it had. If it weren't for the jitter I would probably be one of those positive reviews. There seems no point in wasting money by sending it to customer service again, since the problem is so intermittent that they didn't see it last time. I can only guess it was because the monitor had been off for several days when they got it. I plan to see if leaving the monitor off for a few days "fixes" the problem for a few weeks again, but that is not a viable permanent solution. Sooner or later I am going to have to trash it and buy a different monitor.
