Where do you buy the stand legs? It appears these don't come with the monitor, for some reason.

Is there a DisplayPort cable included and if so how long is it?

DisplayProt Cable is included and is about 4ft to 4.5ft long. Be sure to turn the brightness down as it come in to Bright.

Question 3

Can someone confirm the depth without stand for me?  9.1 inches seems thick compared to the pictures.  I have a custom built desk with a roll away compartment that is about 7.5 inches deep.  I am hoping this monitor will fit there.

The monitor without stand is slightly over 3 inches in depth.  If you install the earphone peg it is about 3.5 inches deep.  That depth applies in the lower portion with the electronics.  The upper part is less than 1 inch deep.

Does this screen have burn in issues like many other 4k monitors at this size?

I have had this monitor a few months now. In the beginning I noticed burn-in/image retention. I was using an HDMI cable. Someone commented that I should use a Display port cable. I installed a DP instead and have not had image retention since.

Question 5

Does this monitor have multiple resolution settings (like 2560 x 1440) or is it just 3840 x 2160?

you can run this monitor at lesser resolutions but it doesn't look good (just tried and its blury), it is meant to be enjoyed at 3840x2160

Will a 200mm x 200mm vesa adapter plat fit above where the speaker is?

Yes, but I had to bend the metal with a channel lock wrench to accommodate the speaker.  Was a quick fix.  Here is the mount i used, and I bought 2 of these and 2 of the Acer monitors.

Why do users answer questions they have no clue about.

A user below said you can't use a wall mount. That is wrong. It specifically states in the specs that a 100 x 200mm mount is what you use?

I have 2 of these monitors both wall mounted. I did modify the wall plate a tad to make it fit back of monitors. Just bent the metal lip with pliers. It was easy.

Question 8

Do the included display port and hdmi cables support 4k or should I look at purchasing an aftermarket cable?  Would an aftermarket cable help with image retention (hdmi) or black screen (displayport)?

The included display port cable supports 4k just fine.  I haven't had any of the image retention or black scceen issues.

Hi, I am curious how well this handles the scaling of 1080P resolution.  I will be using this like a TV from far away and so in order to see the text I have to use a lower resolution.  Many monitors don't scale well and was wondering how well this one does 1080P while still having a clean picture without artifacts, how does this one do with that?

This is monitor, not a TV. If you are just interested in watching TV then you would be better off buying a TV. This has no remote or many of the other settings that you would have for a TV.

Also text size is not an issue for video when scaling, or using in 1080p. I am not sure why you think you need to use a lower resolution...video content of 4K is just clearer and more detailed, not smaller. Text in video will be the same size as they were in 1080p

If you plan to use it as monitor as well then devices that are not built for 4k will not work in 4K anyways and default to their native resolutions. Scale will not be a problem there. If you plan to use it as a PC, most modern OS's will scale appropriately to 4k and increase the size of fonts.

I have to reiterate though, if what you are looking for is a 4k TV, I would not buy this, it is a monitor not a TV.
