Pros: Good unit for the office. Comes well equipped and at a fair price. I wanted to stay with windows XP and this has it. I have to look at the light on the fron of the case to see if it's on or not. It's super quiet and really fast. Makes all the others seem way slow.
Cons: Lots of stuff pre-loaded that you probably don't need.
Overall Review: I was going to build one but at this price it didn't seem to make sense. The technical description isn't really clear about a DVD burner but it's there.
Pros: Good efficient machine. Easy to set up. STILL USES XP!! My third of this model (actually the others were the 1GB RAM models, but otherwise seem to be identical.
Cons: Doesn't juilanne fries.
Overall Review: Somewhere, someday, somehow, Vista will be a viable product. Not only do I prefer this because it still comes with XP, but my application (as many still are) is incompatible with Vista.
Overall Review: I've also gotten several of these machines, and other than my problem getting the video upgraded (only tried to on one machine to get dual monitor), I've had no problems with this or the 1GB version.
Pros: Unit performs as promised. Core 2 Duo is fast for our business application. VERY quiet. Came well packed, and shipped under 3 day expectations. Great unit for the price.
Needed XP for all of our current bookkeeping software.
Cons: Our business decision is to not hook these units on to internet for additional security reasons. Registrations and updates require to do so. ??
Overall Review: Make sure to defrag. after initial setup is completed.
