You can use the 2015 version as long as you would like to backup to a local network drive or harddrive - you cannot however install the upgrade to 2016 without paying an upgrade fee...

Yes.  I am using True Image 2015 on my Windows 10 PCs and it works well.

How may PCs can I use this with?  Does 5 devices mean the license will do 5 full disk image for 5 different computers?

Licenses are unlimited backups per computer...it's called a seat license.  So a 1 license kit is 1 computer, 3 = 3 computers, 5 of course is 5.  Acronis tracks the license key used when installed and activated.

Does anyone know if VISTA is supported?

Yes, it will work on Vista, and XP also.  I'm surprised they don't list it as working with Most Linux systems, as it uses the lowest level hard drive commands.  Since it works with GPT and MBR, I'm not quite sure why it doesn't work with Linux.

What version or build number is this 2015 software?

It's version 2015 build is likely the initial build and if you setup an acronis account and register the license you can download the current version.   2017 is current version.   If you can get 2016 at a reasonable price I'd get it instead and update to current build.
