War rages on – but this time on the modern battlefield – in the fourth installment in the Call of Duty series. Russian utltra-nationalists have started a second Russian Civil War and have overthrown a Middle Eastern country to distract Western forces. Play as a United States Marine and a British SAS soldier in a series of intertwined missions that run parallel to those on the console version.
Take advantage of the latest in modern weapons and technology with night-vision goggles, man-portable anti-tank weapons and the ability to call in air-strikes on stubborn opponents. Man the door guns of a Blackhawk helicopter, the turret on an AFV or deliver death from above from an AC-130 gunship.
DS-exclusive games let you disarm bombs and hack into terminals using the touch-screen. In combat, the bottom screen will display the map while you move through the clearly rendered world on the touch-screen, using the stylus to aim. The graphics are clear enough to tell friend from foe and the soundtrack and realistic weapons effects put you in the center of the action. Up to four local players can take part in multi-player capture the flag or death match games. Lock and load!
