FIRST YOU NEED A STEAM ACCOUNT.IF THE GAME IS INSTALLED & YOU HAVE AN ACCOUNT,THEN THE STEAM WILL DOWNLOAD THE UPDATES.I PLAY MULTIPLAYER,BUT THE STEAM DOWNLOADS FOR BOTH SINGLE & MULTIPLAYER.

It's included.  If you go to online play > private match > bonus maps -- you'll see it there.  I will say that in all of the rounds I've played online, I've yet to see it come up in the rotation.

My Processor is the AMD athlon(tm) 64x2 dual core processor 4600+ 2.41 ghz. Can I play this game?

I'd say...probably NO.  I'm running a Pentium Quad core from 2 years ago...and it barely makes it... the system requirements for this game are bonkers!  6 GBs of RAM...I'm using 4 and it yells at me when I boot the game up.  You Definitely need a 64 Bit OS either Windows 7 or 8.  No getting around it.  Personally I would say no even if you have the minimum requirements.  If you play the multi-player there is barely anyone on-line to play with...I can't access any game modes other than TDM or Domination (during peak hours).  Hope this was helpful...won't lie...bought a PS3 and a KB/Mouse adapter so I can play this games...Infinity Ward doesn't care about PC gamers.

Bit the bullet and purchased.  Got the code and it pre installed just fine and I'm ready to go on release day. As for "downloading 40gb on my account" its not a relevant issue.  I'd have to do it either way, I'd just prefer to do it sooner rather than release day.

When you buy it from Newegg, do you get the steam code, or do you only get the physical copy in the mail?

Yeah like Eric B said, both. You're not gonna use the DVDs (Which are 4 or 5 BTW) but you'll need the activation code which is inside the DVD casing, then log onto Steam and activate the game without inserting DVDs and your game will be activated and DL-ed through Steam.

My game did not arrive with a physical gift card. It will be received a few days or more past your payment via e-mail.
