Did it come with the SATA III cable?

It is a nice SSD, comes with mounting screws and plastic adhesive backed mounting bracket. It Does not come with a SATA cable. I purchase the metal adapter plates for my builds. I like this SSD as this is my 5th or 6th one I have purchased.

Is this drive TLC or MLC, and why isn't that listed on the product description or specs page?

Seems they've avoided saying what the primary storage is, even in the data sheet.  They specify "SLC Cache", but don't mention main storage.  Likely TLC.

Will this drive work on an older tower with a first generation SATA 1.5 GB ?

Anyone having issues trying to format it? I can't so I can't use it, I've tried every method. I'm using Win10

I have used 10 or 15 of the SSD hard drives and have had only one issue where it failed and that was when lightning struck her house and killed her computer. Other than this is my goto SSD for most of my system builds. I recommend it.

Is this SSD Mac compatible?

Yes it is. It’s running in a 2010 MacBook Pro right now. Just erase and format with Disk Utility like you would any other drive.
