I need to be able to use this on a desktop computer and my laptop.  Most software I have used allows for the installation on a static platform and a mobile (laptop) platform or do I have to spend another exorbitant amount on another copy?

I'm pretty sure you can load it on both a desktop and one laptop.  The license I had for the previous version of Acrobat supported two installations on one license.  I haven't done this yet myself with the 2017 version.

This one is a full licensed version that includes DVD install disc. Can be installed on 2 devices concurrently. It is not an annual cloud based subscription.

Yes, no problem. You will see the option in your Word print menu.

I need to stitch multiple 30x42 Autocad plot files, flatten comments. Does this product handle it?

Accepted Answer

No.  Adobe Acrobat is for creating and editing PDF files.  You will need to purchase a program to edit CAD files like Autodesk AutoCAD.  I think they have a trial version so you should be able to test before having to buy.
