Is this just one license for one computer?

Good question. I do know that some Adobe products allow to install on a PC & Laptop. But I do believe the license knows if your running both at the same time and will shutdown one version and won't you run two at the same time if that what you're planning to save some money. Their way ahead of you. We only planned on installing this on one machine. You might go to Adobe's site and chat with a Live Agent and ask them. Sorry couldn't help.

Is this the perpetual program or the one with the monthly fee for services access?  Is there just one program and you choose which type you want?

there is no monthly fee. the professional version has more advanced feature. overall, i like it.

Is this version compatible with Word/Excel 2007?
