A built-in viewing window lets you easily check the status of the color-changing silica gel beads. Orange beads indicate that the rechargeable dehumidifier stick is ready to absorb moisture. When the beads change from orange to dark green, the stick has absorbed moisture and should be renewed using the included heating base. 2-Hour PTC Heating Base for Easy Renewal When a moisture absorber becomes saturated, simply place the dehumidifier stick on the PTC heating base for approximately 2 hours. The heating process releases the absorbed moisture from the silica gel beads, allowing the cordless dehumidifier stick to be reused again. The heating base automatically completes its heating cycle to help prevent continuous heating. If the silica gel beads have not fully returned to orange after one cycle, remove the dehumidifier stick, gently shake it to redistribute the beads, and place it back on the heating base to start another renewal cycle.
