I upgraded 1 hard drive to a large solid state and maxed out the RAM. You're unable to upgrade the GPU. It performs great!

The graphics card is described as "NVIDIA GeForce GTX GPU 2 GB GDDR5", but there are many different cards with that specification, and their performance varies substantially. Which card is in this PC? The 440? The 770? The 950?

It's an 860M. A mobile GPU. The alpha is gaming laptop in a different case. Look up on the GPU database for more specifics specs of the 860M.

It's a Steam gaming console/PC. You hook it up to your HDTV or a monitor that has a HDMI input. Using the Steam UI, you install and play all your Steam games. If you use the Windows 8.1 interface(need keyboard and/or mouse otherwise you can't access desktop mode) you can install Origin or Uplay and play the games associated with them. It was marketed to compete with the PS4 and XboxOne.
