Alphacool Eiszapfen Quick Release Connector Kit G1/4 Outer Thread - Deep Black, Brass (17561)

The Alphacool Eiszapfen Quick Release Connector Kit G1/4 Outer Thread - Deep Black is a quick disconnect for a water cooling loop with a G1/4 outer thread (OT) on both ends. One male and one female half come per kit, and the type of quick release connector is Push In.

Properties

• Threads: 2 x G1/4 outer thread (OT)
• Thread length: 5 mm
• Size (L x D): 62.5 x 24 mm
• Material: Brass, chrome plating
• Color: Deep black
• Pieces in the pack: 2 (one male, one female)

How it opens and closes

The closure is released by pulling the connecting ring, and in doing so the counterpart will automatically spring out of the quick release fastener. To connect the two pieces again, simply push them together until a clear click indicates a secure lock. Alphacool calls this action very easy and carefree, and says it requires no force.

How much water escapes when disconnecting

Thanks to what Alphacool calls an ingenious locking and sealing system and its N.D.S.L (no drip, no splash, no leak) technology, the loss of water when opening the fastener is minimal. Only a tiny drop of water escapes, so maintenance needs no full drain of the system.

Alphacool places the Eiszapfen series as the high-end line of its range. Its quick-release fasteners are available in various designs but can all be combined with each other.

What the loop needs

Each half ends in a G1/4 outer thread, so it screws into a port or a fitting with a G1/4 inner thread.
