Alphacool Eiszapfen 16/10mm Compression Fitting G1/4 - White Sixpack, Brass (17625)

The Alphacool Eiszapfen 16/10mm Compression Fitting G1/4 - White Sixpack is a set of compression fittings with a G1/4 external thread for 16/10 mm hose (ID 3/8", OD 5/8"). There are six fittings in the pack. Alphacool notes that six fittings of one type are often necessary, which is why it also offers six-packs.

The Eiszapfen series

Alphacool calls its Eiszapfen Fitting series the high-end version of the proven compression fitting. In its words, all requirements that are placed on a fitting are met here: Highflow, shape, processing and color scheme. It says uncompromising development and manufacturing have made the Eiszapfen what they are. These are the ones in brilliant white, and Alphacool says they blend excellently into any system.

Coating and logo

Alphacool says special processes are used to bond the coatings firmly to the substrate. In its words the longevity of the intense colors is thus given, and chipping of the coating is prevented. The Alphacool logo is on each fitting, which makes it unmistakable in addition to its special shape.

What a run needs

The thread screws into any G1/4 port, and the other end takes 16/10 mm hose, sold here as 3/8" ID x 5/8" OD soft tubing. The compression nut has beveled edges that press the O-ring tightly against the hose, keeping it securely in place. A hose run takes two fittings, one at each end, so this pack covers three runs. Blue, red and yellow O-rings are in the box, six of each.

• Please note: use these fittings only in conjunction with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. As well, this can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty.
