Powerful!

Alphacool offers a wide range of thermal pads to enable effective heat dissipation from electrical components, and calls the Apex the most powerful option in it. By its account the pad can reliably dissipate the waste heat. The silicone-based pad is ultrasoft and has a strong compressibility that Alphacool calls optimal, which is also what makes it versatile. Due to its low hardness and natural stickiness, it can be adapted to surfaces, perfectly so in Alphacool's words, and evens out unevenness between components. Thus, Alphacool says, it greatly improves heat transfer.

Thanks to a material composition Alphacool calls unique, the risk of silicone bleeding from the pad is significantly reduced. Alphacool says it can cool reliably for a far longer period of time without suffering a significant drop in performance.

The pad does not conduct electricity, and Alphacool rates that electrical insulation as excellent. It makes the pad suitable for cooling the parts in many kinds of devices.
