Flexible connections
This part replaces the standard terminal of the GPU cooler and allows flexible connection options. It positions the connections above the backplate, significantly reducing the depth of the cooling block. Each input and output has three possible positions: top, side and rear. Alphacool says the terminal offers maximum flexibility and suits extensive modding projects or systems with limited space. It also says the elegant design is perfected by a magnetic cover, which is aluminum and not water-bearing.
What the loop needs
Two of the six threads are used, one in and one out, each with a compression fitting for your tube size, which is not in the box. The manual says the terminal has two separate chambers, so one port on side 1 and one port on side 2 must serve as inlet and outlet to ensure that the cooler is cooled. Close the unused inlets and outlets with the four G1/4 plugs that come with it. Alphacool's note: please follow the manual for the correct flow direction of the water.
Installation
The manual shows the swap in a few steps. Remove the cover with a slotted screwdriver, loosen the three screws, take off the standard terminal and remove the old O-rings. The new terminal goes on with the two O-rings and the three M4x14mm screws from the box.
