High-quality RAM cooler

RAM is becoming more and more powerful, so Alphacool calls it advisable to reliably dissipate the resulting waste heat with water. Its reasoning: modern hardware produces more and more of that heat, which makes powerful and reliable cooling essential. The 3 mm thick cooler base of nickel-plated copper is what Alphacool says offers precisely these features. The block is optimized specifically for the latest RAM generation. In combination with the D-RAM modules, Alphacool claims maximum cooling performance for your memory.

Installation

Alphacool describes the installation as straightforward. Per the manual, the RAM modules stand in an upright position and each gets a thermal pad. The pads sit a little distance from the mounting holes, so the holes stay free on both sides. The cooler then goes on top and is fastened with the M3x18mm screws and the Allen key.

Apex Design

Apex is the product line that, according to Alphacool, represents the highest level of perfection. It says first-class materials and innovative technologies guarantee a unique premium product. The design language harmonizes perfectly with other Apex products, creating what Alphacool calls an impressive overall picture. The Apex optics and the lighting ensure a stylish appearance.

Digital aRGB lighting

A total of five aRGB LEDs provide lighting that Alphacool describes as discreet but impressive. Each LED is individually controllable via a corresponding controller or via the mainboard, which opens up many creative possibilities. The ARGB adapter from the box makes that connection.

What the loop needs

Two ports mean two G1/4 compression fittings, which you pick by tube size.
