The Alphacool ES Quick Release BLH1A PushIn Set IT-IT with Bulkhead Fitting is a quick disconnect coupling with a G1/4 inner thread (IT) on both sides, one set per pack. It comes with a bulkhead fitting for mounting through a hole in the case. Alphacool has optimized this ES quick-release connector for use in server and workstation systems.

Maximum flow rate

Other quick couplings can affect the flow of water negatively. Alphacool says the quick coupling has therefore been fundamentally redesigned so that the water flow is hardly disrupted. It adds that particular emphasis was placed on minimal processing tolerances. In Alphacool's words, it is characterized by precise manufacturing quality, excellent water flow and a secure click mechanism for sealing.

Quick and easy

The ES quick connectors from Alphacool are meant to simplify the assembly of server and workstation systems. Thanks to the convenient handling, Alphacool says, complex systems can be connected quickly and easily. The quick-release fastener opens when the outer ring is pulled back. The seal then closes immediately and prevents coolant from escaping. To lock the quick-release fasteners again, simply push them into each other until a clicking noise confirms secure locking.

Function of the bulkhead fitting

The bulkhead fitting makes it possible to feed a tube through a hole, for example in the casing. It is securely attached to the housing using a lock nut. Standard G1/4 tube connections can then be connected.

What a run needs

Each side has a G1/4 inner thread, so a fitting with a G1/4 outer thread screws into each one, and the case needs a hole for the bulkhead fitting. The halves are also stocked singly, as the PushIn Male IT with Bulkhead Fitting and the PushIn Female IT with Bulkhead Fitting.

Notes

• Note: to avoid damaging the O-ring, do not open or close the quick-release fastener when it is dry.
• Use it only with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses.
